Name, Location and Description

The species has a wide distribution and shows considerable variation. The females are gen- erally a little larger than the males and with broader heads. There are both green and brown individuals.

    Are you sure the second audio isn’t Diceroprocta delicata?

      Yes. The song was recorded by David Marshall and can also be found on his website.

    I have here in northern CA in Sierra foot hill mixed oak conifers what appears to be I guess a sp. of Cicadette its song is very high frequency “peeps” always given in threes do you know this species?
