when will cicadas show up in northeastern Utah again?
I would need a county or river (if you are a flyfisher).
In general, the peak month for cicadas in Utah is June (based on the number of sightings in iNaturalist website).
April 5
May 177
June 630
July 188
August 28
September 10
That said, Wing Tapping cicadas like Platypedia have up and down years, so there’s no guarantee that they’ll be back every year.
