Here’s a video of a Cicada Killer wasp captured by my friend David Wilson in Lambertville, NJ. You can hear the cicadas in the background, so you know the wasp is quite frustrated.

Are wasps universally always this nasty and vicious?
In the house I grew up in, in Long Island, NY. my Dad had to hire a professional to get rid of either a wasp or a hornets nest.
Cicada Killer Wasps are only nasty to cicadas.
