Name, Location and Description

The species has a wide distribution and shows considerable variation. The females are gen- erally a little larger than the males and with broader heads. There are both green and brown individuals.

I have here in northern CA in Sierra foot hill mixed oak conifers what appears to be I guess a sp. of Cicadette its song is very high frequency “peeps” always given in threes do you know this species?
