Hello David,
Currently for that one and most I use a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 mega pixels that gives me great photo’s plus zoom in shots for close ups. It also gives me the ability to make mimi movies with, but they use up alot of space on the momery cards. The last few years I’ve been experminting useing it properly.
This year I invested in a Sony Webbie HD Camrecorder 5x optical zoom 5.0 mega pixels. Its not only a video recoreder but takes picture’s too, The momery cards hold more time for longer video’s. I’m hopeing this year to get some real good cicada songs in longer duration that before but I still need to learn how to use its features.
Great call Joe- what equipment are you using please? Good luck with the northern season.
David.
Heard one call once in Florida when I was renting a car. I thought it was an active electrical wire the way it buzzed. Then it dawned on me — Diceroprocta. Never saw one live. They were high up like this one. Thanks for the awesome soundfiles Joe!!
