According to Nathan Emery on Twitter, four new species of cicadas belonging to the genus Yoyetta have been described:
- Y. cumberlandi sp. nov.
- Y. fluviatilis sp. nov.
- Y. nigrimontana sp. nov.
- Y. repetens sp. nov.
