Renowned cicada researcher Gene Kritsky, PhD., has a new book out: Periodical Cicadas: The Brood X Edition. It was available for Kindle and paperback on Amazon.com. I assume Gene will have an updated version in 2038.

Hi Gene – I just started your book and am finding it fascinating.. I wondered if you would be interested in a doing a zoom slide presentation for Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands http://www.fpnl.org? We are expecting Brood X emergence here in Kingston and Princeton, NJ so I would imagine there would be lots of interest in this natural phenomenon either this spring or at some time in the future. (I can appreciate that this might be prime mapping time). Let me know if you might be interested, and discuss your honorarium and possible dates.
